Doreen Stanger. April 28, 1923 to October 2, 2002.
It is with great sadness that we announce that our dear mother passed away on October 2, 2002 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She is predeceased by her loving husband Ken, one sister Nancy, and four brothers, Gordon, Al, Ken and Russ. Mom will be dearly remembered by her three children; Ed (Terry), Shirley (Jack), Lynn (Terrence), four grandchildren, Rosalynne, Michelle, Adam and Dylan; two great grandchildren, Jaeden and Ryan, two sisters-in-law, Millie and Lena and many nieces and nephews as well as many close friends. Special thanks to Rochelle, Arleen and Paul and Eva who were always there to lend a helping hand.
Also thank you to Doctor King and Doctor Lowe for their special care and compassion.
No service by Mom's request. In memory of our Mom, we will be having a memorial tea on Sunday, October 6, 2002 between 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at 1342 - 132B St., Surrey.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Cancer Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
