CROWDER: Dorothy May (nee Homfeld), born October 15, 1923 in the Hazelmere Valley, Surrey, passed away January 26th, 2008 in Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C. Survived by her loving son Gary, sister-in-law Sheila Homfeld and other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Albert; parents Ernest and Hannah Homfeld; sister Mabel (Harvey) Messenger; brothers Ed, Ralph (Miriam), and George Homfeld; and other relatives and friends.
A life-long resident of Surrey, Dorothy was a devoted and loving wife and mother, and a good, kind, generous, honest, sympathetic, forgiving, hard-working, intelligent, courteous, thoughtful, sweet and beautiful lady. She was all that and more. Mom was a rare jewel and she will be greatly missed. No service by Dorothy's request. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of your choice, if you wish.
