Douglas Charles passed away February 1, 2003 in White Rock, B.C. after a brief battle with cancer. Survived by Helen, his caring wife of 57 plus years; son John (Shirley); daughter Brenda Brice (Yule). His loving grandchildren, Trevor, Riley and Lianna and their father John Brice.
Born October 26, 1919 in Saskatoon, Doug spent his youth in Edmonton and served in The Royal Canadian Navy 1939-1945. He spent many years in the automotive supply industry in the lower mainland. Doug and Helen lived in Richmond until moving to White Rock in 1988. Doug was an avid sports fan, curler and fisherman. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends including neighbours, Tony and Bea, his horseshoe buddies, and members of the Navy Chiefs and P.O’s Association.
