Dr. Brian John McLaughlin, D.C. - Died peacefully on May 8, 2018, aged 86 in White Rock. Born in Auckland, New Zealand in 1932, Brian worked an amazing variety of jobs including ski instructor, teacher, outback farmhand, Vancouver policeman, and Alaska fisherman. His final career as a chiropractor spanned 40 years and helped people from all walks of life.

Brian was an active member of the Rotary Club. He loved almost all sports and most especially rugby. He was a proud and attentive husband, father, and grandfather. Brian attended countless school plays and sports events. His grandsons got silly songs and funny faces, as did his wife of almost 60 years. We will miss his bright mind, offside humour, storytelling and most of all his love.

Brian is survived by his wife Nancy McLaughlin, son Michael (Dr. Andrea Cheung), daughter Emily (Graham Law), grandsons Ethan and Thomas Law, and extended family around the world. Brian's funeral will be on May 26, 2018, 4:00 p.m. at Victory Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or toast him with a beer.
