Dee passed peacefully at the age of 97 on September 28, 2018 in Surrey, B.C. She was born in Wadena, Saskatchewan and became a proud graduate of Saskatoon City Hospital where she worked for several years as a maternity nurse. Dee was a member of the White Rock Community for 18 years and prior to that Sidney, B.C., Saskatoon, and Battleford, S.K., where she lived with her husband Larry, to whom she was married for 60 years.
A loving mother and a kind and gracious friend to all, she is survived by her grateful children: Beverly Turner, Lawrence Brierley, Shelley Brierley Von Zill, and Gaynal Brierley and their spouses; as well as her grandchildren: Jonathan, Jann, Katie, Kirsten, Kallima and Kaschta; and her great-grandchildren. We were fortunate to have such a loving soul as our matriarch for so many years. We hold her in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Dee Brierley's name to a charity of your choosing or to the Saskatoon City Hospital Chapel or the Salvation Army.
