He was an extraordinary man who challenged those around him to be better people. His intelligence, positive attitude, and generosity created opportunities for others. He continued to share his extensive knowledge until the end. Edward quietly passed away February 13, 2010. He was a loving father to daughter, Bobbi-Jean, and mentor to his wonderful grandchildren Scott and Kelly Nixon. Sadly, he was predeceased by his wife, Grace, the love of his life, grandson Alexander, parents James and Janet Russell and brothers Niven, Alec, Duncan, and Bill. He will be greatly missed by family and friends but especially by the "Crescent
Beach Group".
The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to the nurses of the ACE unit at Peace Arch Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 1pm Saturday February 27, 2010 at First United Church, 15385 Semiahmoo Ave, White Rock.
