Ted passed away May 26, 2006 at the age of 90 years.
Born in Cheshire, England in 1916, he will be lovingly missed by his wife Jessie; son Edward (Barbara); daughter Sandra (Tom) grandchildren David, Catherine (Yukinari), Bryan (Akane), Alan (Erin); great-grandchildren Emma and Mae in Japan; and may nieces and nephews throughout the world.
Ted’s life was very full and would like to be remembered for many events that shaped his life.
Of particular pride would be as a fast-footed midfielder on the Cheadle Heath City soccer league (circa 1935) and for his contribution as a British Navy gun layer protecting the convoys of the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Indian Ocean during W.W.II.
Canadian Legion and BC Ferry friends will remember the friendly, energetic man that got the job done to the best of his ability.
His talents included a flare for gardening and lending advice on most any professional sport.
Goodbye Ted…let the angels
get on with their work!
