It is with profound sadness that Elio's family shares the news of his sudden death. Born in Italy, Elio immigrated to Canada as a child, attended Kitsilano High School and graduated from UBC with a Master's of Social Work. He moved to White Rock in the late 1970's and later retired there.
Elio is survived by his wife, Llaesa North, his son Alex of Pennsylvania, his son Ben [Janet] of Maryland, and his daughter Mary [Michael] of Tsawwassen. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Ethan, Auriol, Madeleine, Bruce, Azzara, Maximilian and Angus, whom he adored and who brought him immense joy.
His friends and family are going to miss the wonderful meals he cooked with love.
