In loving memory ~
Elwood Pushee passed away in White Rock, BC on March 18, 2025 at the age of 90 after a brief illness.
Elwood was born June 22, 1934 in Antigonish Nova Scotia to William and Lida (Grant) Pushie. He was predeceased by his partner Jack Dancey, his parents, his brothers Everett, Elmer and Robert and by two sisters in infancy.
After completing school, Elwood worked in the securities business in Montreal, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle and Vancouver where retirement life began.
Elwood and Jack travelled extensively, and Elwood always enjoyed talking about the different parts of the world they had explored and what the highlights were. Many winters were spent in Palm Springs where they enjoyed seeking a variety of collectable treasures that filled the van for the trip home. Mexico was the next favourite winter spot where trips were enjoyed with friends.
Elwood always loved a conversation and his memory for the details of events long ago was impressive. The presence or pictures of dogs always brought a smile, and as well as the mention of the late "Pepper and Tyler" their prized schnauzers.
Elwood will be fondly remembered as a kind and gentle soul.
