With great sadness we announce the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Emerson O'Krane was born in Sturgis, Saskatchewan and is predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Okrainetz and his 17 siblings. Dad, you were the last man standing.
He leaves behind his wife Sharon, his children Debbie (Rob), Wendy, Jim (Choi Tai Lau), his grandchildren, Callen (Mandy), Kirstie (Ethan), and his great grandchildren Nolan, Nash and Remy.
Emerson moved to British Columbia and worked in mills, McGavins Bread and became a successful building contractor, Emerson's Contracting. He and Sharon lived in Burnaby 32 years and then moved to Surrey.
Emerson loved camping, fishing, gardening and was an ardent Canucks fan. He always whistled a lively tune and will be remembered for his jovial laugh. Dad, your place will always be at the head of the table. Safe journeys.
