HATTER: Emily Isabel
With great sadness and love we announce the passing of our mother, Emily on September 6, 2006. Born in Calgary on February 26, 1919, she is predeceased by her husband Alfred and son Tom.
Survived by daughters Barb Hatter (Chris McKillop), Bev Budinsky (Fred), daughter-in-law Karen Gertzen, grandchildren Scott, Troy, Jaime & Jason, and great-grandchildren Shyla and Kimmie.
Mom lived in White Rock for 58 years.
Mom was always involved in many community activities like Brownies, Job's Daughters, Rangers, Hospital Auxiliary and sang in the church choir. Her strong faith in the church was an important aspect in her life. She had a great talent for knitting, petit point, and other crafts.
She will be deeply missed by friends and family, and is finally at peace with her Lord after a lengthy battle with
Alzheimer's. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. There is no service by request.
In the arms of the angels let her fly.
