LUDWIG, Emma
Emma Ludwig had her wish and is now in Heaven with her husband Len, sitting on his knee. Mom passed away July 27 at the age of 96. She was a loving mother to Fred (Marilyn), Brenda (Jeff) and Bryan (Carol, deceased), grandmother to Lisa, Trevor, Jenny and Sarah, and great-grandmother to Madison, Ryan, Michael, Emma, Ryder, Mason, Safiya, Oscar and Iyla. Mom was born in Ireland and very proud of her heritage. She was quick to say "I'm Irish you know". Mom led a very active life, willing to try anything new, until old age hampered her style. She was always quick with a comeback and the life of a gathering. Her advice to her family was "Do what you can while you can" and "Make the most of every situation." She lived her life with strength, bravery and faith, maintaining her sense of humour to the very end. Mom leaves a legacy of love. Please toast Emma with a glass of wine or her favourite Baileys. We wish to thank Westminster House for their kind, considerate care, and her friends and staff at Crescent Gardens, where she enjoyed many years. At Mom's request, no formal service will be held.
