December 14, 1933 - July 27, 2020
Eric passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital, having not reached his goal of living to the age of 100.
He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor, the love of his life. They were married for over 57 years and were constantly together raising two responsible and caring children.
Eric was dedicated to achieving goals he set for himself from an early age in spite of monetary and physical obstacles. He signed up as an accounting student after high school and earned the degree of Chartered Accountant.
During his career he became finance director for Canada of a large multinational corporation based in London, England.
Eric is survived by his daughter Linda (Jack), his son Rick (Brenda) and three grandchildren - Lauren, Trevor and Logan, his two sisters, Edna and June, and many nieces and nephews.
No service by his request. Final arrangements entrusted to Victory Memorial Park, South Surrey, BC where he will be reunited with Eleanor.
