Passed away peacefully and calmly in the arms of his son Norman on May 26, 2003 in White Rock, B.C. in his 100th year. Also by his bedside were his daughter Susan and his grandson David John Wheeler. Ernest lived a full and active life to the very end of his days. Many will miss seeing him making his way along the boardwalk at White Rock Beach with Susan of Bellingham , WA and David John, his visits to Semiahmoo Mall and enjoying an ice cream at White Mountain. He will be lovingly remembered by his 2 sons; Lorne (Marie), Norman (Yvonne) and daughter Susan (Kenneth) Wheeler, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends. A Memorial will be held at the Society of Friends Meeting House,1831 Fern St. Victoria, B.C. on Saturday, June 7, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.
