Ervin Gerhard Lindstrom

Passed away on April 8, 2005 at Peace Arch Hospital after a lengthy hospital stay.

Ervin was born in Estonia July 17, 1913.

Arriving in Prince Rupert in 1948, Ervin worked for the Skeena Cellulose Plant as an Instrument Mechanic.

He married the love of his life Elsa in 1949 and he built their first home in his spare time.

Retiring to White Rock in 1972 to their lovely Marine Drive home where he had time for all his hobbies and from where all of us - his friends - have wonderful memories.

Ervin was predeceased by his two brothers Harold & Arthur.

Ervin is survived by his loving wife Elsa, his son Thomas Lindstrom and grandchildren Danny Lindstrom and Susan Lindstrom all of Vancouver Island.

His many, devoted friends who adopted him and Elsa into their family.

Ervin was a self taught man with great love for classical music.

He was caregiver for Elsa as long as his health allowed him.

Ervin recieved excellent care from the nursing staff on the fifth floor and from Doctors M. Bassett and J. Gayton.

We sincerely thank all staff members and dedicated friends, who to the very end showed they cared.

We celebrated his life with a memorial on Wednesday April 20, 2005 at 11:00 am at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2350 - 148th St.
