October 6, 1945 - January 24, 2020
A full, happy life has come to an end. Gene passed away peacefully at Peace Arch Hospital a few short weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. He leaves behind his wife Judy, son Craig (Meagan), daughter Amy (Jeff Glass), four grandchildren: Ellie, Jacob, Owen, and Gavin, sister Marlene, and brother Hugo along with their families. He was predeceased by sister Esther. Also missing him will be his many friends, including those at Green Lake and throughout the BC Lacrosse community.
Gene was a dedicated box lacrosse volunteer since 1986, and could be found in an arena almost any night during the lacrosse season. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren at their extra-curricular activities, and spending time with all of his family. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
At Gene's request there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the BC Cancer Agency.
