Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on April 8, 2003. Born in Seattle on October 30, 1917. She was a pioneer of the South Surrey and White Rock area for most of her life. Mom was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1985 and sister Hannah Taylor. Survived by her sons Bob, Lyle (Joan), Stan (Linnea), Roy and daughter Lori. Six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. One sister Florence Longstaff and brothers Bill (Anne), Jack (Irene) and George (Blanche) Breaks, brother-in-law Al Taylor and nieces and nephews. Mom was a very loving and generous lady and will be sorely missed by her family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Memorial Gardens, 14831 - 28 Ave., Surrey. Reception to follow in the tea room. Flowers gratefully declined.
