Survived by Doug Bodley, husband of 58 years, Linda Neumann (daughter) and Mike Neumann, both residing separately in Princeton, Ron Bodley (son) of Seattle WA, and Graham Bodley (grandson) of Bellingham WA.

Fern was born in 1926 and grew up on a farm near Dafoe, Sask.

She is survived by her brother Richard Morrow of White Rock; Vera Gyorfi of Raymore Sask and Ethel Dixon of Regina Sask.

There are many wonderful relatives living in various parts of Canada and the United States, who have all been loving toward our family throughout the years.

Fern made everyone feel important and was a real 'server'.

She loved to cook for the family, and let all her friends and family know they were important in so many special ways.

Many White Rock residents will remember Fern from the years when she waitressed at John's Cafe on Marine Drive and Vidal St., worked at Gordon's Hardware (Endersby) uptown, and the schools she was a secretary at; espcially the many years at Crescent Park Elementary.

Thank you to Gladys Peterson,Lennie Moore, Carl & Lorraine Farrauto, Bobby Jenkinson, Bea Beach, Patti Haithwaite, Stan & Lyn Morrow. There were many others and we thank you too.

Fern died from lung cancer and complications.

Many thanks go to Dr. Bob Cheyne and staff, and all those involved with Fern's health care these past years.

A tea was held in her honour on March 26, 2005 at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 - 28th Ave, 2-4pm, Surrey.

In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, White Rock.
