Born Montreal, Quebec on July 20, 1923; passed away at 9:15 March 11, 2008 at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock / South Surrey, B.C. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Gordon of 63 years and sons Grant Gordon (Helen); Douglas Ian (Jean); and her four grandchildren, Trevor (Natasha), Shawn (Vivian), Andrea and Shawna, and two great-grandchildren, Lochlyn and Evyn. Following employment with the Sun Life Assurance Co. in Montreal, Flora served in the R.C.A.F. at designated flying stations operating under the British Commonwealth Air Training Command during WW2. Further to her post-service career and marriage, she managed to upgrade her former graduate studies in Business Management. Flora continued a life of service for many years, serving both the Judges of the Supreme Court of Ontario and those in the High Court of British Columbia, retiring in 1988 to her home in White Rock. She was a long-time member of the Air Force Association of Canada and a past - President of 804 Wing; she was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 77, Lakefield Ontario and the Crescent Branch 240 in Surrey, B.C.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Sandringham condominium recreation center, located at 15558 16th Ave, White Rock for a celebration of Flora's life on March 16 between the hours of 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, Flora has requested a donation to St. Mark's Anglican Church, 12953 - 20th Ave. Surrey, B.C. V4A 1Z1
