Florence passed away peacefully at the Peace Arch Hospital on June 4th, 2003 in her 91st year.
She is predeceased by her husband Floyd and her daughter Sandra. Survived by son Raymond and his wife Frances, son-in-law George Shipley, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Florence was the last survivor in her family of 13 brothers and sisters from the Kamloops area.
She was a wonderful homemaker and an accomplished artist in the White Rock community.
The family would like to thank Carolyn Leslie, friend and nurse for the long and diligent companionship shown to Mom for the past 4 years, the staff at Crescent Garden for their continual loving care and the nurses at Peace Arch Hospital for their compassion in our time of need.
Funeral services took place at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2003 at First Memorial, 602 Kingsway in Vancouver, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Variety Club of Vancouver.
