Frances Lucille (Rodgers) on July 22, 2006 one of 2 daughters of James (Frank) Rodgers and Margaret (Grant) Rodgers.

Frances has gone to rejoin her husband Jack and her first born son Robbie. Survived by her sister Margaret (Clark) Daykin, sisters-in-law Jean Stirn, Sister SR Georgina (Helen) Stirn, Mom leaves behind her children Marilyn, Doug (Lorraine) and Jim Stirn, 2 grandchildren; Ailsa (McIntosh) Somersgill and Justin (Jade) Stirn, nieces and nephews; Gordon Tobin, Brian and Beverley Stirn, Judy (Clark) Chant, Steve, Ken and Rob Clark, several grand nieces and nephews.

Frannie and Margaret were born and schooled in Kitsilano.

Blessed with a sparkling sense of humour, Mom was quick to laugh.

Frannie attended the Vancouver School of Art during the Depression.

She remained a talented and meticulous artist through her long and varied life.

A gathering will be held in her honor Sunday August 6 at 3 p.m. Blackwood Village, 1550 Blackwood St., White Rock, where she lived out the final decades of her life.
