Purcell, Geoffrey William
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving partner, Dad, Grandpa and Papa. Geoff Purcell, born October 29, 1932 in London, England, moved to Canada in 1964 lived in Vancouver and for the last 18 years, in White Rock, B.C. Geoff was an integral part of the community and enjoyed being a part of the Semiahmoo Potters. He passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2011 at Peace Arch Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Geoff is fondly remembered by his partner Wendy who spent 22 wonderful years with him, his four children Andrew (Marlo), Nick (Brynne), Judi (Ken),and Katrina (Michael) and his 7 grandchildren. He was an amazing father and grandfather and will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. A celebration of Geoff's life will be held in the Spring. As Geoff was a avid soccer fan, donations may be made to the Whitecaps Foundation, promoting youth focused initiatives in B.C., and greatly appreciated.
