When I think of all the people I've met
As I travelled through life, it's hard to forget
That some were quite kind, and others so cruel
Some thought me wise, others a fool.
I've learned many things as I journeyed along
The value of friendship, good health, and a song.
A song that you sing when you love someone true.
The pain that it brings when they don't love you
What's most important of all that I've learned?
It's not what you own, but what you've earned.
If you've earned the respect of your fellow man
By working and giving to help with the plan
To bring peace to all, all over the Earth
Then you truly have shown what your life was worth.
