After a brief illness, George passed away peacefully at age 76 on February 16, 2005 in Chilliwack, BC.
George was born in Chilliwack, BC.
George will be very missed by all his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving spouse Molly of 26 years, his stepchildren, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, his brother Orm (Elaine) sister Lorainne, 2 stepbrothers Ken (Janet), Gary (Jacquie), his Aunt Peggy and numerous nephews and nieces.
George was predeceased by his mother Mary (Mamie) and stepfather Norm.
George was a veteran of the Canadian Air force and served some time in Germany. He moved to White Rock in 1963, followed by 10 years of employment with the Postal Service.
George and Molly moved to Chilliwack in 2001, where he was able to enjoy his passions of gardening and cooking, also sharing his skills with others.
George will be always loved and always missed.
George will be cremated.
