Gerry was a driver by trade; buses, trucks, cabs, and before retiring, Handi Dart in the lower mainland. He lived in many areas of B.C. As well as a couple in California. His retirement years were in White Rock and he loved spending the day travelling to parts of Vancouver where he had spent a fair bit of his youth, or visiting the beach and pier in White Rock. As well as adding to his very large collection of books.
He is survived by four children John, Robert, Liza, and Steven, as well as six grandchildren. Thank you for the warm comments from those who lived in the same building and relatives who have reached out to the author of this obituary. A date for the memorial service is yet to be decided.
He will be well remembered as the Gentle soul he was.
