Tuckwood, Gertrude Evelyn
It is with sad hearts that we announce that our mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully July 15, 2008 in White Rock BC after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Hattonford Alberta, August 3, 1929. She moved to BC where she met and married her husband Reginald Tuckwood on January 22, 1949 who passed away February 24, 1996. They had four children Albert (Cathy) Tuckwood, Darlene (Barrie) Carlson, Mark Tuckwood and Gail Rushworth. She had four grandchildren Amber, Ryan, Darcy and Teresa and two great grandchildren Jaedyn and Austin. She is also survived by her brother Dave White in Edmonton, Alberta. She was a grand lady who always had a smile and positive attitude no matter what came her way. She was a very giving and loving mother who would do anything for her family and friends. We all will miss her very much. A special thanks to the staff at the Finlay Pavilion third floor who looked after her so lovingly.
Memorial service to be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 14832-24th Ave. Surrey, BC, 2:00 pm Saturday, July 26th.
