GLADYS JOSEPHINE HARRIS

A long time resident of South Surrey, Gladys was born 19th October 1917 and died peacefully 15th April 2008 In Victoria B.C.
Gladys was born and raised in Govan, Saskatchewan. She became a nurse, then met and married her husband, Ken. In the early 50's they left the Prairies and moved to B.C. and raised their four children in South Surrey. Gladys was a proud and devoted mother. After nearly 50 years in the area, failing health prompted them to move closer to family on the Island.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ken in 2001. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her children, Stan, Marcia (Don), Dwayne and Gloria (Rory), and by her five grandchildren and one precious little great- granddaughter.
Gladys maintained a strong emotional bond with her Prairie roots and will be laid to rest in her home town.
