JONES, Grahame John

September 3, 1952 – December 2, 2016

It is with profound sadness that

we share the news of the passing

of our friend and father, Grahame

Jones. Grahame passed away

peacefully on Friday, December 2, 2016, at his home in South Surrey. Born in Norfolk, England, to John and Peggy Jones, he lived most of his life in the White Rock/South Surrey area. Grahame was a kind and loving man who enjoyed sports and the outdoors. In his younger years he spent his time camping & skiing with his family, competing in triathlons, and coaching rugby. An extremely skilled carpenter, Grahame led a successful career in the construction industry. His passion for the Chelsea football team was undeniable, but did not compare to the love he had for his 4 children. In his later years, he became a commited member of his church community.

Grahame is extremely missed by his sons, Martin (Megan) and Ian (Ashleen) Jones, his daughters Lisa Jones (Arron) and Candace Willey (Marques), his cherished grandchildren, extended family and friends. Grahame’s jovial personality and ability to make people laugh will always be remembered. His generosity and dedication to helping others in need were some of his most admirable qualities, and will not be forgotten by those who knew him.

In the words of his favourite artist, Bob Dylan, “the tree of life is growing, where the spirit never dies,

and the bright light of salvation shines, in dark and empty skies.”

A Celebration of Grahame’s life will be held at Peace Portal Alliance Church on Sunday December 11, 2016 3:00 pm, reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the

Peace Portal Alliance Church.
