Gregorius (Greg) Wilhelmus
November 25, 1926 ~ March 21, 2008
The family sadly announces Greg's passing at home after his short and courageous battle with cancer, his family was by his side. Born in Moerdijk Netherlands, he spent 5 years serving in the Dutch Air Force. He met his wife Liduine (Stoopman) in 1947 (married for 58 years) and in 1952, together they moved to Canada to begin their new life and start their family. They settled in Nova Scotia where he established his own business. He was well respected throughout the Maritimes in the furniture industry. Greg and his wife spent their retirement years in White Rock, British Columbia where he became passionately involved in his community. He was predeceased by his eldest son, Joseph (Jeff). Greg is survived by his wife Liduine, sons Tony (Colleen) and Hugh (Michele), his daughter Yvonne, and his loving grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests donations be made to CFFC-BC Division.
