Gwendoline Baker

Gwendoline Lillian (nee Bygrave). Born in Saskatoon July 16, 1915, Gwen passed away on March 29, 2004 in White Rock, B.C.

Predeceased by her husband Ernest Raymond in 1995; survived by her sister Pearl Kathleen (W.Gordon) Smith, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Gwen started her teaching career in Saskatchewan at Kohl School - then to East End where she met Ray.

After several re-locations, they moved to B.C. where Gwen spent her retiring years, as an active member and organist at First United Church.

As well as he involvement with the Hannah Sing Alongs, Gwen also volunteered her musical talents at Whitecliff, Peace Portal Lodge and many other locations.

Gwen's life was celebrated on Thursday, April 1st, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from First United Church, Centre St. and Buena Vista, White Rock. Donations to charity of choice appreciated.
