Kate can fondly be remembered for her mnay years spent working at the White Rock Arena, never too busy to help an aspiring hockey player or figure skater tighten their skates…to shout encouragement to a young goaltender facing a breakaway…to dust the snow off of a fallen figure skater and applaud as they bravely continued their routine.

In her retirement years, Kate enjoyed her painting with the White Rock Paint & Sketch club and knitting and knitting and knitting with the White Rock Knit-Wit club.

Kate loved to spend time with her grandchildren: Stephi, Tiff, Michael, Emma and Joel.

Kate spent many enjoyable hours with her grancdhildren…playing duets on the piano, reading stories, cheering them on in their sporting endeavors, watching them bound across the stage in their dance recitals…or just sitting and sharing a cup of tea and cookies.
