Born in Levanger Norway to Charlie and Molly Komm and survived by his brother William. Survived by his wife Ricki, daughters Jennifer (Dave) and Danielle (Shane), grand kids Jackson, Cadence, Olyvia and Chase.
After a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's Disease, Hakon passed away on July 7, 2019 surrounded by family. He was an avid skier, biker, golfer and true adventurer. Hakon was a successful Chartered Accountant and entrepreneur with ties to the BC poultry and silviculture industries.
Hakon and Ricki were married in 1967 in White Rock and lived within the community for many years. The many family camping trips, sporting
events and vacation adventures across North America will be remembered by Hok's many friends and family while raising a glass of a favourite red wine- 'Skoal!'.
A celebration of life will be held in September details to follow. Special thanks to the staff at Carson's Orchard, Residence at Clayton Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
