FRIEDERICHSEN, Harold Richard

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Friederichsen at the age of 89. Harold will be sadly missed by Edith, his loving wife of 63 years, and his children Ralph (and Margaret), Madeleine (and Terry), his grandchildren Jessica (Matt), Jacob (Amanda), Rachel, Nathan, and his great grandson Liam. Grieving with us is our dear family in Germany. Harold and Edith began their Canadian lives with their marriage in Montreal in 1952. Together, they and their children lived all over Canada, before Harold and Edith settled in the Vancouver area in 1978. Harold was a kind and loving husband, parent, and grandparent with an incredible talent for gardening and woodcarving. Our sincere gratitude to Dr. O'Leary and to all the caring staff at the Peace Arch Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peace Arch Hospital. A celebration of Harold's life will be held at the Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre at 14831-28 Avenue, S. Surrey on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
