Harold Hansen passed away on March 10, 2022 in White Rock, BC, after a brave battle with MSA Parkinson's disease. Born in 1947 in Wells, BC, Harold is predeceased by his parents Susie (Carley) and Jens Hansen, as well as his older brothers Jim and Bill.
Harold grew up in Barkerville, Calgary and Eston. After a short stint in the Royal Canadian Navy, Harold worked across Canada, Brazil and many other corners of the world in the electrical engineering and consulting industry.
Harold is remembered by his children Michael (Marina), Steven (Carolyn) and Amy, and their mother Susan, his brother Ted (Elly), his grandchildren Erik (Delaney), Adam, Alexa, Olivia, Rachel, Madeleine, Isabelle and Poppy, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A small celebration of life will take place at a later date in Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to a local charity of choice are requested.
