Born July 10, 1905 in Sullivan Station, Surrey, BC.
Died February 9, 2006 in Surrey, after a lengthy illness.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Eric Richardson of Calgary AB, and is survived by her son Patrick Garrett and his wife Louise, her granddaughter Susan and her great granddaughter Helen all of Portland Oregon.
Helen was a graduate of St. Ann’s Academy in New Westminster and lived later in Vancouver and Calgary.
She was one of five children born to Henry B and Lena Sullivan, pioneers who arrived in BC in 1902.
She outlived her siblings, Harry, Lily, Clayton and Frank and her peers from youth but had made many new friends along her way in life.
Helen was a matriarch of about 200 Sullivan descendants and will be fondly remembered by all.
She was very proud of being the most senior at the Sullivan Family Reunions. Her generous nature and wonderful sense of humour will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Her caregivers during this long hard road, Sue, Charlie, Emma, and Eleanor will miss her greatly.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday March 7th at The Church of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, 2250 – 150th Street, Surrey.
