August 24, 1923 - July 18, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Helen Greta Bulmer (nee Wilson) at the age of 94.

She was born on August 24, 1923 to parents Stanley Wilson and Greta Leaman Wilson in Moncton, New Brunswick. Helen leaves behind her two sisters, Pegg and Myrna, two sons, Derek (Marianne), Steven (Maria) and daughter, Nancy Pow.

Her pride was her 9 beloved grandchildren and her 5 great-grandchildren whom affectionally called her GG (great-grandmother). She is predeceased by her husband Malcolm (Mac) and brothers Loyal, Arnold, and Ivan.

After Helen and Mac were married, they moved out West, eventually settling in Calgary where they raised their family. Helen and Mac retired to Victoria, where they made many happy memories.

In her final years, Helen moved to White Rock to be near her son, Steven. Her life was full of service to her family, her Church serving in many capacities all her life, but lesser commitments in later years due to her health.

Our family is grateful for the loving care from the nurses and staff at Peace Arch Hospital - Dr. Al Hogg Pavilion especially over the last few weeks.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever".
