Our Dad! He lived and died on his terms. Les was born in Cedars, Quebec to Charles and Marthe Williams, the third child of five.
He lived a long, illustrious life. He was a prolific storyteller and made friends easily.
He was an outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, blue water sailor of his beloved sailboat the Illahee, self-taught cook, hockey player, coached baseball, football, boy's club, Sullivan Station volunteer fireman, WW II vet,, clerk of the works for the construction of the Port Hardy Hospital, played football for the B.C. cubs (1953) and worked as a plant manager for Kraft Foods for 35 years.
Les was predeceased by his first wife Diane and son Peter (Kallie). Left to mourn are son Raymond (Linda), daughters Holly, Lainey (Art), second wife Illa, stepdaughter Marjorie (Gerry), stepson Allan, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life and times of Les will be held later this Spring. Thank you to PAH for providing excellent care during our Dad's short stay.
