HALLEY, Hilda Alethea (Babs), nee Falle, wife of Lorne Wilmot Halley of Vancouver and South Surrey, passed away at Finlay Pavilion on April 22, 2005, age 82. Predeceased by brothers George and Derrick Falle, Dorothy Webb, Mona Falle and Len Falle. Babs is lovingly remembered by Lorne, her husband of 61 years; Perrin (Lorraine), Glenn (Peggy), Janet (Hugh), Phillip (Tammy), Genevieve (Truman); 10 grandchildren: Geoffrey, Stephen, Michael, Rich, Kris, Nicole, Jessica, Mitchell, Ryan and Thomas; and 2 great grandchildren, Jacob and Lauren. Born May 24, 1922 in Earlswood, Surrey, England, Babs served A.T.S. Provost in 1941. She immigrated to Canada as a war bride and travelled extensively with Lorne. Owner of “Babs” Boutique, Ocean Park, Mum, Grandma, “Mimi” was a fun-loving witty, beautiful lady who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. A private Gathering of Remembrance will be held at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 – 28th Avenue, Surrey, B.C.
