MUIR; Ian Mileson
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ian Mileson Muir at age 47. Ian’s life created a spirited and loving extended family, who are now joined in mourning the loss of a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Our sadness is lessened by the memory and celebration of Ian’s incredible spirit. Ian loved people. He could make friends easily and gathered a treasured group of friends throughout his life. He was a gifted wood worker and his family and friends are grateful to have pieces of his beautiful craftsmanship in their homes as a reminder of his talent. Ian loved to be in the outdoors and relished the time he was able to spend mountain biking, taking long walks, camping and having bon fires. But his greatest love was for his daughter, Ava, whom he cherished above all else. She embodies the best parts of him and is our greatest reminder of his life. The family respectfully requests that no flowers be sent. Instead, we ask that you honor Ian by living and loving life to its fullest, sharing a memory and thinking of Ian as you knew him, a loving soul that has left us too soon.
