Shelton, Ingaborg Anna-Luise
Our dear Inga passed away peacefully, with loving friends at her side, at the Peace Arch Hospital, on December 6th 2008. Inga was born on August 16, 1923, in Halle, Germany. She immigrated to Canada in 1954 and over the years she lived and worked in Kitimat, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and finally in White Rock for the last 15 years. Inga touched many lives in
numerous cities and she will
always be remembered for her loving kindness and her positive approach to living.
Inga is survived by her sister Eva in Sweden, her two nephews Bernie and Gord and their families. Her brother Wolfgang passed away this past March 23rd, 2009.
She will be lovingly remembered by all her family and friends but in particular she will never be forgotten by her adopted Herringer Family, Donna, Steve, Diana, Tim and family, Katharine and
Stephanie. Inga was our friend, our confident, and our "Oma".
Inga was known to her family and friends for her big heart, generosity and kindness and she will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
As requested by Inga, there will be a celebration of Inga's life on Tuesday, April 7th at 1PM at the Pacific Inn on King George Hwy in the Rockwell Lounge. All her friends are welcome to attend.
