Ingvar (Inky) Klett

On Friday, October 20, 2006.

Born April 23, 1924 in Oppdal, Norway. Predeceased by his wife Norah (nee Corbould) in 1994.

Survived by his sons Barry (Mireille) and Duncan (Marian); daughter Barbara (Brian) Walks; 8 grandchildren; brother Morris and sister Anna Romas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Airplanes were his passion.

Inky was an aircraft maintenance engineer in the R.C.A.F. Q.C.A., MacMillan Bloedel Flight Operations and volunteered at the Canadian Museum of Flight.

He was a keen fisherman and hunter.

He was certified as an International Track and Field umpire.

Inky was an avid South Surrey Eagles Fan.

Inky was an active member of St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Vancouver, then St. Mark's Anglican Church in Ocean Park.

Memorial service to be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 12953 - 20th Ave., South Surrey on Friday October 27 at 2 pm.
