Irene Briar passed away quietly June 23, 2020 of natural causes.
Irene led a full life, having married three husbands: George Briar, Dave Gordon, and Yvan Theriault.
She had three sons, Victor, Paul and Ken as well as three Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.
Irena, as she liked to be called in later years (a tribute to her Ukrainian heritage), had four brothers and three sisters spread throughout Canada and the United States.
Her passions were singing with the Sweet Adelines, teaching children and gardening, especially flowers.
Irena requested no funeral service. Instead, a celebration will be held after the pandemic.
