Irene Mary Coulter (nee Holland)

June 21, 1934 - August 5, 2022
Irene Mary Coulter passed away peacefully. Survived by four of her children. Mother to Richard Thomas Coulter, Robert Kenneth Coulter,
Stephen Paul Coulter (deceased), Penelope Kathleen Rogers and Pauline Michelle Coulter. As well as 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Irene was born on June 21st, 1934 in Ajax Ontario and moved to Ocean Park in approximately 1947.
Irene referred to by many as Nana, was the caregiver to so many people's children. She ran a day care from her home, and often looked after many of her grandchildren. Children meant the world to Irene; she was always taking in stray kids and stray animals. So many young people felt safe and secure in her presence.
She had the opportunity to travel to several countries with her children in the later years.
Sunday dinners were always a very important thing to Irene and because of this the tradition will remain.
While she is now gone, she will be remembered forever.
A celebration of life will be held on September 17th from 2-5, at the White Rock Rotary Field House at 2197 148th St. Surrey. Due to the large numbers expected to attend, this event is by invitation only.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that anyone interested could donate to our charity of choice. The BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Please mention that the donation, is on behalf of Irene Coulter.
