It is with great sadness that we announce that Irma lost her short battle with cancer on
March 7th.
Irma was loved by many people and known for her soft spoken, gentle nature. She was happiest surrounded by her family, who will miss her dearly. Some of her best times were spent with her Nash Metropolitans and the many friends she made over the years going to car events all over North America.
She was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Margaret Janssens, and her son, Jimmy.
She leaves behind her husband of 54 years Jim; daughter, Terri (Gaetano); grandchildren Anthony (Lisa), Matthew (Milly), and Kristina.
Her siblings, Sheila (George), Lorne (Robyn) and Lloyd (Ann), and many nieces & nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday March 20th at 11 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church 2250 150th Street, Surrey, BC.
In lieu of flowers please a donation can be made in Irma's memory to the BC Cancer Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
