(LEARD) ANDERSON, ISABELLE

Eleanor - Passed away at age 93 in Campbell River on Sunday, February 8, 2009. She was predeceased by husbands Forest Leard and Kenneth Anderson, brother Roy, sister Dorothy, mother Jane, father Howard, survived by sons John (Barbara) Campbell River, Fred (Myrna), Princeton,

stepson, Judd (Claudia), White Rock, Kenneth (Jennifer) Whitecourt,

Alberta, stepdaughter Donna, Langley and sister-in-law Ena Lewis, Kelowna, grandchildren Donald, Stewart, Martin, David and several step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Isabelle over a span of many years was active with the White Rock United Church, The White Rock and Peace Arch Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and the P.E.O. She taught Classical Piano for many years out of her home in White Rock, B.C. and was loved and respected by her many students. Isabelle was a real lady, a firm believer in a close family. She loved music and reading. She was fond of travelling by motorhome to the desert, she enjoyed cruising, and an evening glass of wine. Isabelle was never happier than when she was surrounded by family. She was a wonderful mother, aunt, grandmother and "Grandma Great" Special thanks to Dr. Meckin for his professional caring demeanor and kindness, and special thanks to Lee Smith, Kurt and all the staff at Sunshine Manor for providing loving care for mom in her later years.

A celebration of Isabelle's life will be held at the United Church, 415 Pine Crest Ave., Campbell River, B.C. on Saturday, Feb 14, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.
