Jack Brent Harms

With genuine sadness we announce the death of Jack Brent Harms at 59 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Lena and Peter, Jack is lovingly remembered by Cia, sister Judy (George) Wiebe, his "other" Mom and Dad, Joan and Otto Baron, sister-in-law Shellay (Henry) Braam, four nieces and nephews; Tammy, Jeff, Robyn and Marney, several cousins, and "his girls" Missy and Cali. He was born and educated in Winnipeg and moved to Vancouver in 1965. Jack had many long-standing friendships, which were very, very special to him. He was proudly employed by The Canadian Western Bank, and he treasured his relationship with clients, colleagues and staff. Jack participated on the National Board of Directors with the Bruce Denniston Bone Marrow Society and donations in his memory may be made by contacting 1-877-485-8488.

A "Celebration of Life" service will be held on Friday, November 1 at 3:00 p.m. at the Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 E. Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C. Tel: 604-255-5444. Jack will be remembered as a wonderful, caring friend and gentleman.
