It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father, Jack William Charles Sr., on October 25, 2018 in White Rock, BC. Jack lived a long full life to 91 years of age. He lived every day by his motto "Work Hard - Play Hard".

Jack will be deeply missed by his children, Jack Jr. (Brian), Brian (Chris), Bruce (Alexis), and Mary-Anne (Chuck). His eight grandchildren, Jackie, Tim (Christina), Stephanie (David), Courtney, Tanner (Robin), Jory (Brandon), Layne and Kendall; seven great-grandchildren Hannah, Henry, George, Maya, Brooks, Norah, and Liam. Predeceased by his wife, Dodie, of 51 years, and second wife, Sheila, of 8 years.

Jack had a long and successful career as the President & CEO of Arrow Transportation Systems. He was the founder of Crescent Custom Yachts, and an honourary lifetime member of Royal Vancouver Yacht Club. Jack was an active member of Crescent Beach Swim Club and spent many years as a volunteer fireman at Crescent Beach/Ocean Park Fire Hall#12.

He also leaves behind his beloved "MV Hotei" which hosted many people over the years and created an abundance of memories of fishing and cruising the West Coast.

Thank you to Janet Hassell and Home Instead for the great care given to our Dad to allow him his wish to stay in his own home for as long as possible. Thank you to all of the staff at White Cliff Senior Home for making Jack comfortable during these last few months.

A celebration of Jack's life will take place January 19, 2019 at 12:00 pm, Hazelmere Country Club, 18150 8th Avenue, Surrey, BC.
