McGillivray, Jacqueline Fay
Passed away peacefully August 18, 2006 at Peace Arch Hospital in her 81st year. She is predeceased by her husband Gordon & her sister Joyce. Survived by her only daughter Ann, son-in-law Jack, granddaughter Kaelin and sister Jewell. After marrying her highschool sweetheart in 1946, both having served in the R.C.A.F. in WWII, they moved to B.C. in 1958. Together with her husband Gordon, they owned and operated Crescent Real Estate and Insurance serving the area of Crescent Beach for 21 years, retiring to White Rock in 1979. She loved to spend time with her granddaughter, enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and watching sports of any kind. Golf was a great part of her life, until she could no longer play, due to the severity of arthritis. Thanks to Dr. Deernstead for his immediate response, the kindness of the nurses on the 4th floor and a special thanks to her home care worker Darlene for her years of dedicated caring.
No service by request. Donations may be made in her name to the Canadian Cancer Society with thanks.
You are at Peace Nana,
and we will miss you everyday.
