June 15, 1937 - March 2, 2022
Jacquie passed peacefully while in hospice care at Fraser Canyon Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin Robert (Bob) in 1985.
Jacquie was a stay at home mom and homemaker. Bob and Jacquie raised their children in sunny South Surrey in the Crescent Park and Sunnyside areas. Jacquie loved her children and grandchildren and was always there to help if need be.
Jacquie spent the last 14 years of her life at Riverside Manor in beautiful Hope, BC. She had a wicked sense of humor and her way was the right way and that was that!
She leaves behind her daughter Trisha (Martin) Anderson of Hope, BC and her son Gerry (Michelle) Knight of Langley, BC. Also, grandchildren Sherrie (Michael) Neels; Sean (fiancé Sheri) Kennedy both of 100 Mile House, BC; Robert (Getina) Kennedy of Chilliwack, BC.
She is also survived by her great grandchildren Devon, Madison, Alexis & Adrianna of 100 Mile House, BC and Calina of Chilliwack, BC
The family would like to thank management, past and present, at Riverside Manor for the care and friendship that Jacquie received.
Also, thank you to the doctors, nurses, care aides and hospice workers at Fraser Canyon Hospice, as well as pharmacists, doctors, specialists and nurses from Hope, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, New Westminster, Surrey, White Rock and Vancouver.
A special shout out to Benjamin Neufeld. Jacquie loved your visits and you were dearly missed when you left Riverside.
Then there is Rosie, her partner in crime at the Manor. She loved your gutsy attitude. Also, Shelly Taylor (Shelly's Hair), she loved your 'gossip fests'.
Well thanks Mom. You will be missed but not forgotten. Oh, and Dad, we wouldn't want to be you right now - LOL.
There will be no Memorial Service at Jacquie's request.
Any donations in Jacquie's memory, can be made to the Fraser Canyon Hospice Society or to a charity of your choice.
