SYDNAM, JAQUELINE

Jaqueline Sydnam (nee Ryan) passed away peacefully at home on August 22, 2008. She was survived by her husband Harold Sydnam, her brother Trevor Wrenn and her three children Michael Edward Ryan, Jennifer Jane Sweder and Susan Jaqueline Ryan, and predeceased by her son Peter Gordon Ryan.

Jackie was born November 5, 1928 in Southampton, England, to Edward Wrenn and Phyllis Ena Kernan Wrenn. Jaquie was a wonderful wife, sister, mother and friend. Jaquie was blessed with eight grandchildren, Michael Joseph Ryan, Samantha Jaqueline-Mae Ryan, Peter Ryan, Jeffrey Ryan, Jesse Norman Sweder, Matthew John Sweder, Melissa Elizabeth Sweder, and John Duncan (JD) Munro and three great grandchildren, Riley Robert Brophy, Cain Ryan Brophy and Ayden John Sweder. She was a wonderful "Nanny" to all her grandchildren. She was always active in their lives and so very proud of each and every one of them.

Jackie enjoyed life and the people around her, which included her many wonderful friends. Her passing has left a huge hole in all our hearts but she has given us so many wonderful memories and for that we are eternally grateful. Jackie will be dearly missed but she is now free of the unfeebled body that held her hostage in the last years of her life.

A celebration of life was held at 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27 2008 at the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club, 1284, 184th Street, Surrey, BC.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made at Parkinson Society British Columbia, Suite 600 - 890 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 1J9.
